The aim of this module is to have a comprehensive and clear exposition of the theory and principles of international economics. It will allow student to understand and analyze various changes occurred in the international economics domain notably special trade problems of developing nations, international monetary system, and international transport. Finally, the module aims at providing students with a clear understanding of the Economic Integration framework in the world; and it imparts to students the functioning of the Economic Integration and different General Agreement on Trade at an international level.

This module is an advanced level to the theory and practice of macroeconomics. The student should gain sufficient understanding of macroeconomic theory to understand empirical research and so give you a valuable insight into topical issues. Particular reference is made to the relative importance of long run term growth and macroeconomic policies in the open economy.
